Historically, the development has been met with an economic downturn and traders are certainly taking notice with risk assets off their recent highs. Still, the weaker-than-expected employment figures carried some strength under the hood, namely an increasing labor force, slipping joblessness and accelerating wages which is keeping the Fed on track for 25 in September rather than 50.
